Board Opportunity - Marketing Director

The role as a marketing director is crucial to maintain the promotion and growth of a virtual airline. A position of this importance must be filled by an enthusiastic and strategic individual who specialises in administrative marketing.

Responsibilities -

• Lead a team of like minded individuals who ensure that vVIR as a brand and a company is promoted positively across as many platforms as possible that attract the target market.

• Co-ordinate progress across the board and demonstrate to the virtual airline what marketing campaigns, projects or programmes can be expected for the future.

• Act upon and acknowledge feedback and suggestions received from members and higher ups to deliver expectations.

• Moderate and input on decisions that are in the best interest of the community by the Board of Directors.

• Make executive decisions on behalf of the department that are effective and will impact positively

Desirability's -

• Prior experience in the marketing area within a virtual airline or virtual community.

• Skills and abilities using Photoshop and Graphic Design Programmes.

• Extensive knowledge in marketing and the ability to conduct effective market research.

• Ability to frequently generate fresh ideas that are competitive and in the best interest of the virtual airline.

• Ability to manage a team of like minded individuals who're working toward an objective set out by yourself.

• Ability to delegate tasks, enforce policy and train staff members so that they understand their placement and purpose.
